Concert Band
This is an intermediate Concert level performance ensemble open to the all students in grades 9-12.
Emphasis is placed on the developing good tone quality, technique, style, music theory, music vocabulary and ensemble blend and balance.
Music performed by this ensemble is of the grade 2-3 levels of performance.
Concerts include: Fall, Winter, Area Concert, Pre-Festival, Music Festivals at local High School or College venues, Spring Concert and Graduation ceremonies.
Some additional after school rehearsals might be required. Students are required to practice a minimum of 3 days per week.
Grading consists of Musical Knowledge of concert literature and Performances.
