Drawing and Painting is a fundamentals of art course, all students start here.  You will learn how to use the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create art. You will also develop art appreciation through the use of Art Analysis.  The coursework is designed to meet student artists wherever they are in their artistic practice, whether beginning or experienced. You will develop and enhance your skills using a wide range of mediums and compositions.  Working in the studio is a joyful experience where we celebrate creativity and deepen appreciation for art.  All work is completed in the studio, all supplies are furnished, and no homework is required.  This course fulfills requirements for graduation and is A-G approved.
