Dr. Manoj Mahindrakar, Principal

Dear Wolverine Community,
 
Superintendent Chris Brown and the Capistrano Unified School District Board of Trustees have afforded me the opportunity to return to Aliso Niguel High School to serve as your principal. As an alumnus of the Class of 2002 and former Wolverine teacher, coach, activities director and assistant principal, teal runs through my veins.
 
My wife of seventeen years is my high school sweetheart, whom I met at ANHS; and many of my closest friends today are friends I made at Aliso.  Aliso Niguel is a very special place to me. I’m sure I will recognize many families in the community, as I was Principal at Don Juan Avila Middle School up until 2020.  I know first-hand of the amazing students, teachers, staff and community that make Aliso Niguel a world class high school.  I am eager to re-join the team this summer and continue the legacy of success.
 
As a principal,  I believe the students, staff and community deserve my full commitment.  I am excited  knowing next year will bring an opportunity for me to go all in with the Aliso Niguel school community, make new relationships and reconnect with a community that I love. 
 
I promise to bring a high level of energy, commitment and care to Aliso Niguel.  I will respect our traditions, honor our great legacy and will have an open mind to help build new pathways and avenues for student achievement and belonging.  Success at Aliso Niguel will be personal to me, as many of my friends and family have students here. They along with all families deserve to have a principal who is absolutely committed to our school’s continued success.  I believe there is no greater responsibility than ensuring our students have a safe, supportive and welcoming place to learn and grow.
 
I look forward to meeting you all over the next many months and can assure you that I recognize the honor of serving such a remarkable school community.  I have always known the teachers, staff and students at ANHS to embrace excellence, and it's a privilege to return to my roots and this amazing team. Go Wolverines!
