AP REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

 
 
AP Testing May 6-17th, 2024

STEP ONE: Student registers through College Board myAP by using the “join code” provided by their teacher.  Registering through College Board simply populates students’ exam information into College Board and gives the student access to AP classroom resources. 

 

STEP TWO: Complete registration by paying through Total Registration. Please login to Total Registration and continue the registration process. If you have used this site before, use your same email. (Make sure to use an email address you have access to. Do not use your school @capostu.org "email", this needs to be a personal email. It should be the same email used when creating your College Board account.

What you need to know for test day... 

ARRIVAL TIME FOR ALL MORNING TESTS IS 7AM AND 11AM FOR AFTERNOON AP EXAMS.
Please check in at the Large Gym . It is very important that you arrive on time to check in because there are many things to take care of prior to the start of the exam. Students who arrive LATE will not be admitted to the exam and no refund will be given. 
 
**PLEASE MAKE SURE AND READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW REGARDING CELL PHONES AND DIGITAL WATCHES AND TIMERS
 
 Bring to the test room:
All students should bring two baggies with the following items to their AP Exam:
  •  Baggie #1 Valid photo ID, Two sharpened #2 pencils (not mechanical), extra erasers, dark blue or black ink pens, personal watch if you want to keep track of time (NOT a smart watch)
  •  Baggie #2 Snack/drink for break. Seal items in gallon bags clearly labeled with your name
  • Ruler for Physics
  • Calculator for Bio, Calc, Chem, Enviro, & Physics 
  • Layers of comfy clothing (it could be very hot or very cool in the room) 
  • Medical items if needed(e.g. inhaler,  tissues, masks, etc.) 

Not allowed in test room: 
  • Backpack, notes, folders, books, protractors, compasses, paper, mechanical 
pencils, white-out, markers, highlighters, or colored pencils. 
  • Earplugs, earbuds, or headphones. 
  • Cell phones, smart watches, personal computers/tablets, fitness trackers, timers, cameras, headphones, or recording devices. This is official College Board policy. In the event that you forget to leave your  phone behind, test proctors will collect and  store your powered-off device and you will need to pick it up after the exam in the Guidance office. Cell phones will no longer be stored in the testing area.
   
You’ll have a short, scheduled break during the exam when you can access water, snacks,and the restroom. There will be no phone access until all exams are collected.
