Independent PE

Independent PE is intended for the Pre-Olympic, Elite or Nationally ranked athletes competing in an Individual sport at the highest level.  Competing in and ranking in a lower level does not qualify for IPE.
Team sport participation does not qualify for IPE.
Students needed to apply for Independent Physical Education (IPE) each year. During the onset of the pandemic, students who previously qualified were not required to apply again since COVID restrictions might have impacted their ability to meet certain qualifying criteria.  Now that we have returned to regular in-person instruction and athletic competitions have returned locally and nationally, ALL interested students will need to apply to participate in IPE for the 2022/23 school year.
If families want confirmation of whether or not their IPE application for next year has been approved before summer vacation, applications must be received by May 15th.  Any application received after May 15th will be processed in August.
The final date to submit applications for IPE for fall 2022 is August 10th
