2022 PSAT/NMSQT Registration Information

JUNIORS are now able to register for the PSAT/NMSQT exam that will be held IN-PERSON at Aliso Niguel High School on Saturday, October 15th.

Seats are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis
 
* Based on availability, Sophomores will be able to register beginning September 14th. 
 
Registration Opens:  Thursday, August 25th at 5:00 pm.
 
Registration Closes: Tuesday, September 13th at 11:59 pm
 
Cost of Exam: $40
Date of Exam: Saturday, October 15, 2022
 
 

What are the benefits of taking the PSAT test?

  • Merit Scholarships (Juniors ONLY) – PSAT is tied to the National Merit Scholarship program
    • highest-scoring Junior entrants in each state may qualify
  • Prep for the SAT – access free, personalized SAT practice from Khan Academy
  • Connections to AP Courses – the score report will show AP courses that are a great match for the student
 

WHAT TO BRING

  • Two No. 2 pencils with erasers
  • An approved calculator
  • Valid school- or government-issued photo ID (for students not testing at their own school and home-schooled students).
  • Social Security number (optional)
 

WHAT NOT TO BRING

  • Any devices, including smartwatches, that can be used to record, transmit, receive or play back audio, photographic, text, or video content
  • Protractors, compasses, rulers
  • Highlighters, colored pens, colored pencils
  • Pamphlets or papers of any kind
  • Food and drinks, including bottled water.
